Main duties of the job

  • As Substance Misuse Clinical Team Leader Band 7, you will provide clinical support for clients with substance dependence.
  • You will also have qualificationas an NMP or willingness to undertake Non-Medical Prescribing training.
  • You will ensure management of complex clients, providing advice and guidance on clinical interventions to a team of practitioners, as well as psychosocial workers and agencies concerned with substance misuse.
  • As the SMS Lead, you will demonstrate leadership and undertake both clinical and managerial responsibilities.
  • You will be responsible for ensuring effective and best use of the nursingprovision, psychosocial provision and all clinical resources.
