Job summary

Current Labour Market, developing working relationships with external agencies and monitoring of performance. Central and North West London NHS Foundation Trust are looking for a Med Temporary Staffing Lead to deliver a high quality, safe and efficient Temporary Staffing solution. The successful candidate must ensure that the principle of "Bank first" is adopted throughout the Temporary Staffing processes and must have the ability to support in monitoring the financial spend accordingly..

Main duties of the job

The role requires the post holder to provide expertise and specialist knowledge regarding the engagement of bank and or agency workers.

The ideal candidate must have a working knowledge of the following:

  • M&D T&C's and any impact on Bank or agency workers,
  • National strategies associated with Temporary Staffing
  • Frameworks associated with the engagement of temporary workers,

The ideal candidate must be able to develop working relationships with external agencies and monitor performance alongside the Agency Accounts Manager. The Temporary Staffing Lead must have the ability to create and maintain effective working relationships with internal stakeholders and maintain trust and transparency with external providers.

  • In conjunction with the Associate Dir of HR Temporary Staffing Lead will ensure that an excellent and responsive service is delivered at all times.
  • Reviews and distributes all work requests to the department, ensuring that requests are actioned promptly, queries are responded to promptly and any urgent issues are escalated.
  • Improve the efficiency of the team through effective supervision, management of the workload and attendance ensuring adequate staffing levels at all times.
  • Propose and implement changes to policies and processes to support best practice, attraction and on-boarding efficiency, compliance with employment law and continuous service improvements in the operation of the Staff Bank

  • Educated to a diploma level or NVQ Level 4 or equivalent experience

Desirable

  • Have CIPD Level 5 or a degree in HR or other equivalent.
