Job summary
This is an exciting opportunity to join the inpatient rehabilitation team at St Pancras Rehabilitation Unit, providing specialist multi-pathology andneurology rehabilitation across 3 in-patient wards.
You will be responsible for leading and developing the nurses and healthcare assistants on the unit, acting as a role model and clinical expertwithin the specialist field of rehabilitation nursing. You will work with the Operational Manager and Lead AHP to ensure the delivery of coordinated patient centred care in partnership with the multidisciplinary team, patients and carers.

The post holder will be part of the senior management team to lead the nursing team and the inpatient unit.
The post holder is a member of the management team and as such has a responsibility to participate in the management of the service and provide sound advice and guidance to the Ward Managers, Operational Manager, Head of Integrated Adult Services and the Borough Director.
The post holder will take day-to-day operational management responsibility for the planning, directing and performance management of the St Pancras Rehabilitation Unit. They will also ensure that every contact count, practice is evidence-based and patient care focused. They will provide clear leadership, in partnership with the Transfer of Care Hub Lead in order to ensure timely screening and triaging of patients. The post holder will work with the Operational Manager to ensure that team performance targets are consistently met by developing and implementing improvement plans.
