Job summary

Perinatal Community Mental Health Services provide specialist care for women (and their babies) with moderate to severe mental illness, this includes offering pre-conceptual counselling alongside working with women during their pregnancy and up to the first 12 months after birth with expansion planned to 2 years postpartum.

We are committed to supporting training and developing as appropriate to the role in line with CNWL training provision.

Main duties of the job

An opportunity has become available in the Milton Keynes Specialist Perinatal Mental Health Service for an enthusiastic, dynamic and motivated Band 3 Administrator to provide administrative support to the multi-disciplinary team. The role will be part-time (0.5 wte) and the post-holder will be required to be able to prepare correspondence using a range of electronic media. The post holder will work alongside the Team Administrator supporting the team with maintaining the KPI's relating to the patient pathway on the clinical record system. As a Band 3 Administrator the successful applicant will have previous experience of working in a clinical environment and will have experience of using Microsoft Office suite of programmes including the use of databases to input, store, modify, structure, maintain & present data and information.

The post holder will be required to work across two team bases at MK CNWL HQ on the hospital campus and Stantonbury Health Centre.

We are moving towards SharePoint and knowledge of this would be helpful.
