Locum Consultant Psychiatrist in Eating Disorders for Child and Young People 12 Months Fixed-Term , Full-Time 10PAs (Part -Time applications welcomed)
This is a Fixed-term post for a Child and Young People Consultant Psychiatrist in Eating Disorders to join the CAMHS arm of the all age Vincent Square Eating Disorder Service.
The post holder will lead and develop the CAMHS ED intensive community treatment and integrated CAMHS/paediatric day programs. The latter is being developed in collaboration with Chelsea and Westminster Hospital and WLHT CAMHS ED community service.
The post holder will work alongside a newly recruited specialist MDT, supported by the well established CAMHS Community Eating Disorder team.

Main duties of the job
The post holder will provide psychiatric and medical assessment and management of children and young people with eating disorders receiving care in the intensive community and day patient programs. They will similarly contribute to the care of a small number of young people with medically unexplained symptoms who may benefit from the day patient treatment model. They will provide clinical leadership within the teams, and in liaison and collaborative working with partner organisations and other stakeholders.
