Job summary
The role involves provision of clinical supervision, operational management and training to qualified and trainee clinicians at Step 2 with some reach into the HI CBT team. You will be responsible for the day to day operation of the teams ensuring that staff work in accordance with NHS talking therapies standards and that the service achieves KPIs. You will also work with the senior management team to develop and improve the service and will take a lead on specific service development projects as required. The role also involves liaison with other services and facilitating good working relationships and pathways with other healthcare providers in the borough. You will be required to work closely with training organisations to facilitate pathways for trainees and students. You will required to manage your own clinical caseload and report in to your direct line manager and the senior management team.

Main duties of the job
The post holder will provide clinical supervision and training and operational and management expertise to the service. They will lead on service developments in Community Living Well Psychological Therapies, work alongside other lead clinicians and support the Clinical Lead and Deputy Clinical Lead in their role.
To provide operational management for staff and trainees in the Step 2 CBT team; to manage the daily operations of the service; to support the Service Lead to meet commissioned targets, to lead on delegated areas within service development. To develop expertise in Step 2 CBT within the service and work within the framework of IAPT national requirements to provide specialist CBT supervision across staff groups, as necessary.
About us
Community Living Well Psychological Therapies provides a range of interventions to adults with common mental health problems and physical health long-term conditions. Community Living Well is a partnership organisation, including an IAPT service offering CBT and counselling in a stepped care model (in which this post is based); a hub psychology service and partner organisations including a Peer Support service, Employment support and a Navigators service. Community Living Well provides interventions to people registered with a GP in Kensington and Chelsea and Queens Park and Paddington. Within the IAPT service a range of psychological interventions are provided for those with mild to moderately severe mental health problems. Referrals are received through self referral, from GPs and other mental health and community clinicians and professionals working to develop collaborative pathways between mental and physical health.
The post holder will be expected to participate in extended hours clinics offered by the Community Living Well Psychological Therapies Service, as required. This may mean working from 12pm - 8pm on up to two days per week.
