Job summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Administration Team Leader to join Ealing Community Services.

The post-holder will need to provide strong leadership and management for the administrative team at Ealing Day Treatment Centre, ensuring implementation of efficient and robust administration systems and processes to support our clinical services operating from this community site.The role will support day to day operational service delivery, including reception management functions for the building and a hands-on, practical approach is required.

In order to be shortlisted, please ensure that you outline your previous staff management/supervisory experience in your application, along with examples of how you meet other aspects outlined in the person specification.

Use of MS Office, SystmOne, Oracle and Health Roster will be essential in this role. Training will be provided, but a high level of IT literacy will be needed, in addition to having the ability to train your team and support their development. You will need to be well organised, be able to work on your own initiative and to cope with changing priorities and demands.

Main duties of the job

- To supervise, lead and manage a team of administrative staff.

- To oversee front of house services , ensuring that there is appropriate cover at all times and support operational service delivery at the community site.

- To continue to improve and develop the administrative functions and processes which support our clinical teams.

- To work collaboratively with colleagues across Ealing Community Partners and external organisations in relation to site management eg infection control, health and safety, ICT, estates and facilities etc

- To support various aspects of data collection, resolve SystmOne data quality issues and help to resolve ICT issues.

  • Administration/Customer Care/ HNC in Business or acquired relevant equivalent experience

Desirable

  • Computer literacy training course eg ECDL

Knowledge and skills

  • Significant experience of working in an administrative capacity
  • Able to work unsupervised to plan, prioritise and delegate work across a team
  • Able to facilitate change within a team
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • High level of IT literacy

Desirable

  • Good knowledge of patient flow, clinical care and processes of NWL (E)
  • Knowledge of community resources to support a discharge pathway
  • Knowledge of Local Authority and Health roles and integrated care models

Experience
