Band 3 Administrative Assistant - working across Adult Learning Disability, Autism and Mental Health

CNWL -Milton Keynes Speech and Language Therapy Services

Permanent contract 30 hrs per week

We have an exciting new position available in our MK Adult Learning Disability, Mental Health and Autism Services. The Speech and Language Therapy Team is already well established within the integrated Social Care Adult Learning Disability Team, as well as the Mental Health & Autism Team in MK . You will join our Adult Learning Disability, Mental Health and Autism Speech and Language Therapy team based with other health and social care colleagues at MKCC council offices (Civic Offices in CMK)

Main duties of the job

This role involves crucial administrative support to the SLT team including;

  • providing full clinical administration support for the Speech and Language Therapy Service
  • producing a range of communication resources for service users and support Service Users in the use of high tech communication aids
  • producing easy read documents to support communication skills and enhance independence
  • To contribute towards service improvements in a positive and proactive manner
  • Working alongside an SLT to organise training events for carers and other professionals

This role also has the potential to support development of clinical activities with the client group.
