We have an exciting opportunity for a dynamic and motivated Clinical Specialist Band 6 Physiotherapist to join our team within Camden Community Integrated Adult Service.
The Band 6 Clinical Specialist Physiotherapist will work across the rehabilitation wards and will primarily be based within the 2 multi-pathology wards based at South Wing within St Pancras Rehabilitation Unit. One of these wards has 6 Neurology beds.

Main duties of the job
The core caseload is adults with a wide range of diagnoses. The age range has a natural bias towards elderly though is not limited to this age group. Falls, amputee and frailty form a large part of the caseload with a smaller number of beds having stroke and neurology patients. The caseload offers the successful candidate a mixture of complex rehabilitation and disability management. The MDT uses an integrated approach and there are some established rehabilitation groups in place. There is a strong commitment to evidence based practice, shared and continuous learning.

Regular CPD sessions and in-services are held and along with training opportunities identified from yearly appraisal and regular 1:1 supervision.We are looking for a physiotherapist who understands their role and contribution to the multidisciplinary team environment and has the proven ability to communicate in an exceptional manner. Applicants should possess a broad knowledge base covering a variety of inpatient specialities that can be transferred to this type of care delivery.
The team is based at St. Pancras Hospital, situated close to the amenities and transport links of Kings Cross and Camden.
