Job summary

Eating Disorders is a specialism within children's mental health, therefore finding candidates with rich experience is really important. It would be fantastic to have staff 'ready-to-go', but we appreciate the need to grow and develop people in this field and improve young people's access to care.

As such we have training in Family Based Treatment for Eating Disorders delivered by the renowned James Lock MD, PhD, professor of psychiatry and behavioural sciences at the School of Medicine and director of the Comprehensive Eating Disorders Program at Lucile Packard Children's Hospital Stanford (via Zoom). We can offer this training to candidates who are successful at interviews, even before you start. In this way you will meet some of the team you will join and have training in the therapy you'll be delivering.

Vaccination

As an NHS Trust we strongly encourage and support vaccination as this remains the best way to protect yourself, your family, your colleagues and of course patients and service users when working on our healthcare settings.
