Job summary

CLW (Kensington and Chelsea) NHS Talking Therapies is a dynamic and innovative Talking Therapies service based in a diverse area of London. We are looking for a Deputy Clinical Lead to join our senior management team to work alongside our existing Deputy Clinical Lead.

The role involves oversight of the Step 3 CBT Team and Administration Team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the day to day operation of the service across our team bases, including supervision and line management of staff, delivery of KPIs and provision of training for staff. The role will also involve leading on specific areas for the service including development of links with external organisations as well as internal development projects.

CLW NHS Talking Therapies is a site based service with opening hours of 8am-8pm Mon - Thurs and 8am - 5pm Friday. The role involves working one late shift weekly (12-8) and Thursdays are a required working day.

We currently have a 40/60 split of F2F and remote appointments, and so can offer hybrid working for most roles, although this may be subject to change if service user demand for F2F appointments increases.

Main duties of the job

We are looking for someone with extensive experience of NHS Talking Therapies (IAPT) in a management capacity, you will have excellent clinical skills, be a BABCP accredited High Intensity therapist and have substantial supervisory experience. You will be familiar with IAPT requirements and have experience of using data to manage delivery of all key targets.

  • Post-graduate doctoral level training in clinical/counselling psychology (or its equivalent for those trained prior to 1996) as accredited by the BPS including two or more distinct psychological therapies and lifespan developmental psychology.
  • or Post-graduate level training in an evidence based psychological therapy from a formally accredited course recognised by IAPT
  • Accredited as a cognitive behavioural psychotherapist by the British Association of Cognitive & Behavioural Psychotherapies (BABCP) or equivalent

Desirable
