Job summary

Camden Community Therapy Team have an exciting opportunity to offer a permanent contract for a Band 5 Physiotherapist.

This post sits within the Camden Integrated Community Healthcare Team and is based at Hunter Street Health Centre, near Kings Cross- St Pancras .

You will be working alongside senior Physiotherapy colleagues, Occupational Therapists, community Nurses and a range of other AHPs providing home & community based rehabilitation programmes in a diverse and exciting central London borough.

This post would be suitable for a new graduate with an interest in working in the community or a physiotherapist with previous experience, who wants to consolidate their skills in the area of community rehabilitation. Previous experience of working in a community setting is desirable but not essential.

Main duties of the job

This post will give the successful applicant opportunity to experience a wealth of learning and development and to work alongside a responsive dynamic team who put patient centred care at the heart of what they do. We work in an inter-disciplinary way to provide client-centred, goal focused therapy to patients in the community.

You will have an interest in working as part of a team to provide high quality, patient centred interventions. The caseload is comprised predominantly of adults who may present with multiple complex health needs. As such, you will have the opportunity to develop a wide range of clinical skills and interests in areas such as falls, orthopaedics, general medical and surgical conditions. An understanding of the management of multi-pathology patients and the impact that psychological/cognitive factors may have is desirable.
