Job summary
Our team supports the North West London Mental Health, Learning Disability and Autism Provider Collaborative, between Central and North West London NHS Trust, and West London NHS Trust. Your role will focus on our cross-NWL Mental health placement discharge function.
We are looking for an organised, data confident and process orientated individual, who can work with clinicians and keep our team running effectively. Your primary role will be to take a lead for our data processing, quality and analysis functions in the clinical placement discharge team. You will also provide some administrative support to programme staff delivering change work.

Main duties of the job
The post holder will support the team to ensure that clear and systematic quality and performance recording processes are in place.
The post holder will standardise reporting templates and will be expected to work closely with clinicians to develop a data quality and performance management culture and commitment to ongoing improvement and development within our services.

We are a small but busy team supporting Provider Collaborative work across North London - we host responsibility for collaboratives relates to Adult Eating Disorders and Perinatal Mental health, a clinical team focused on mental health placement discharges, and lead other priority work across our footprint. We are a mixed team of clinicians and project staff.

Job responsibilities
- Collate and analyse data, working closely with clinical leads to maintain a critical operational database and where applicable using SystmOne to create clinical reports
- Support the Programme Manager in carrying out in-depth analysis and interpretation of complex performance data, identifying potential remedial action to prevent issues becoming threats to service delivery
- Ensure all staff are trained in local data input and manage discrepancies/data quality issues accordingly if and when appropriate
- Alongside the Programme Manager, take responsibility for data quality within the team, taking initiative to implement remedial action where necessary including training healthcare staff, writing protocols
- Support/lead as applicable on documents, protocols, briefing papers, reports and presentations, developing and tracking project plans and risk logs where appropriate.
- Support/lead as appropriate on reporting within designated timeframes for major partners and performance meetings.
- Provide administrative support to the team more generally, i.e: providing reports from HealthRoster to facilitate robust management of sickness absence, annual leave etc; acting as the sponsor for local administration of smartcards and SystmOne access; coordinating financial management functions such as purchase orders and invoices
