A brand new and exciting opportunity has been created at Windsor Intermediate Care Unit (WICU) to meet the needs of our developing service and to deliver holistic, quality care.
We are looking for an enthusiastic, innovative and caringMedicines Optimisation Pharmacy Technician to come and join the friendly Home 1st Unplanned Care Team at WICU, we are a large Multi-Disciplinary Team delivering intermediate care services to the community.
Main duties of the job
To assist in the delivery of a comprehensive, high quality and efficient medicines optimisation service to patients under the care of Central and North West London NHS Foundation Trust (CNWL) in Milton Keynes and the multidisciplinary treatment team responsible for their care.
To liaise with Milton Keynes University Hospital Pharmacy staff to support an effective medicines supply service to CNWL Milton Keynes Services

- BTEC/NVQ Level 3 in Pharmaceutical Sciences
- Registered as a practicing technician with the General Pharmaceutical Council.
- Accreditation in Medicines Management (AIMM) or local equivalent

Previous Experience

- UK Hospital pharmacy experience (post qualification experience)
- Portfolio demonstrating competency of previous and current pharmacy practice skills, knowledge, and CPD.
