Job summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 4 Data Administrator .

The post holder will be part of Addiction and Recovery community Hounslow (ARC), which consists of multiple services across the borough of Hounslow. The post holder will be part of the Data team at Montague Hall, Montague Road, Hounslow, TW3 1LD and will be expected to work collaboratively with colleagues as required.

They will have specific responsibility for gathering, inputting, analysing and managing the data requirements of ARC Hounslow. They will support colleagues in the process of using the system and entering data, as well as emphasizing the importance of clean and accurate data collection. They will monitor the quality of data entry, and manage the data on the system to help with audit and research. The post holder will also independently provide and manage a range of support and administrative functions.

Main duties of the job

The main responsibilities of this post will be to ensure completion and accuracy of our clinical data and correcting data where required, monitoring of our KPI performance, providing an oversight of common themes in terms of data quality issues, and ongoing support to members of staff in completing data accurately.

We are looking for someone who is dynamic, organised, who can work autonomously as well as part of the multi-disciplinary team and who can work in an efficient manner. You will report to the performance and Data lead and be responsible to the Service Manager.

  • To receive or collect clinical data and support the Hub/SPA in monitoring and maintaining dashboard and other data related performance monitor systems.
  • Provide new starter and ongoing SYM1 training as a superuser for the Hub/SPA.
  • Provide support to the clinical leads and pathway managers with regards to administrative support in maintaining and managing the waiting lists.
  • Provide and receive routine information requiring tact and persuasive skills to exchange verbal and written information with service users, staff and carers.
  • Exercise judgment when dealing with enquiries, analyse and resolve problems where required and within scope of role.
  • Plan and prioritise own workload.

  • When required service meetings including preparing appropriate papers and taking and transcribing minutes
