We currently have a Community staff nurse in a health visiting team based in Harrow. You will be supporting the Children's Universal Health Service 0-19 teams in the delivery of the Healthy Child Programme to children aged 0 - 5 years and their families.
The Health Visiting Service is part of the integrated 0-19 service in Harrow and recognised as delivering an innovative and progressive service. Harrow is a richly diverse outer London Borough, which brings challenges and rewards for practitioners.
You will hold a first level registration in adult, mental health or child branch, if you are due to qualify in the next few months you are also welcome to apply.

Staff nurses work as part of a skill mixed team and you will contribute to the success of the team by being an effective role model.

The post holder of Community Staff Nurse in Health Visiting works as a member of the Health Visiting Service to deliver the Health Visitor Service Specification and Healthy Child Programme to resident of Harrow.
Work is delegated to Community Staff Nurses by Health Visitors; the skills and knowledge of Community Staff Nurses enhance and complement the team and help in the early intervention and prevention work of the service and the support of families. Community Staff Nurses are required to work in partnership the families, health care professionals and professionals from other agencies.
The Community Staff Nurse will work closely with the people who use our services, their families, friends, and carers and play an important contribution in how people experience our services.Nurses are expected to be kind and responsive but professional and informative and contribute to the quality of the services we provide.
