Job summary
Brent and Harrow Community Perinatal Mental Health Team, based at Northwick Park Hospital is looking for passionate Registered Mental Health Nurses who are looking to make a difference whilst working in an environment that promotes staff development and training opportunities. CNWL is passionate about developing its own staff, driving them to go on to become more established practitioners and this post is no different.
You could be an existing Band 6 or Band 7 Nurse looking to take your next steps or an experienced practitionerlooking for a new venture;we have training and development opportunities tailored to suit your needs within the perinatal framework.
Flexible working- Our team operates Monday to Friday from 9.00 am to 5.00 pm however there are opportunities for this post to be tailored to suit you and your lifestyle needs withflexible workingavailable in a team that is dynamic and transforming the way we offer support women and birthing people in Brent and Harrow with perinatal mental health challenges. The Team provides a Monday-Friday, 9.00am-5.00pm service. The successful applicant would be expected to have the flexibility to work occasional extended opening hours to facilitate early or late clinic appointments, home visits or training.

We are looking for a clinician with a special interest in improving care for women, birthing people and their families. Experience of working in the perinatal mental health field is desirable; a keen interest in this specialist area is essential.
The Perinatal Mental Health service provides specialist, multidisciplinary perinatal mental health care for women from preconception, during pregnancy and up to two years postnatal who live in the boroughs of Brent and Harrow.
To help support you with the above we offer a robust induction and tailored training is given and encouraged. As an employer, CNWL and London Perinatal Network also offer various training opportunities, dependent on how long you are in post and on your development needs. In addition, we offer regular in-house training opportunities to learn from each other with the aim to continuously improve our practice.
