Job summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a forward thinking, enthusiastic, highly motivated and experienced administrator to join the Palliative Care Service, based in Camden. We invite both full time and part time and job share applicants. This post forms part of the administrative team supporting a service working across two sites, one working within UCLH supporting the inpatient team, and the other out of St Pancras Hospital, supporting the community team.

The Palliative Care Service provides specialist care in community and hospital settings for patients with an advanced or progressive illness which may be incurable. The care we deliver can be provided alongside other active medical and therapeutic treatments, in order to improve quality of life. For those towards the end of life we hope that patients can die in comfort, with dignity and in the surroundings of their choice. Our specialists include nurses, doctors, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, social workers, clinical psychologists and assistant practitioners.

As an NHS Trust we strongly encourage and support vaccination as this remains the best way to protect yourself, your family, your colleagues and of course patients and service users when working on our healthcare settings.
