Job summary
You will work with a team which includes a wide variety of other disciplines, as well as nursing staff. The role covers a wide range of tasks that will require confidence, patience, tolerance and creativity, as well as a good sense of humour and a satisfactory level of physical health. You will receive ongoing support from your peers, service manager and nurse consultant. You will also receive individual supervision as well as support in reflective practice groups.The successful candidates will be a registered professional with mental health service experience. You will be required to work Monday - Friday 9am-5pm with potential for some flexibility at times based on the needs of the service. We are looking for someone with strong and proven leadership skills, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. This role comes with the opportunity to work in a managerial and clinical role. The post holder will lead the nursing and other MDT team.

Main duties of the job
The main responsibility of the post is to develop provide clinical leadership and raise standards of professional clinical practice in Collingham Child and Family Centre, taking responsibility for developing and implementing professional standards in the unit and continual development of the team.Work as part of the Unit's Leadership team and play a pivotal role in operational and clinical leadership and management of the Unit through a time of development. Develop the functions and structure of the Unit to best meet the mental health needs of children, and their families. Develop and ensure Unit clinical and operational protocols are kept up to date.Ensure that clinical provision is delivered to the highest possible standards in accordance with the CAMHS operational plan, relevant national policy and legislation and to meet the requirements specified by the NHSE service specification.
Deliver specialist clinical skills to assess patient's needs, provide care, manage treatment programmes, coordinate pathways and provide specialist clinical input across the patient caseloads.Work closely within a multi-disciplinary team and the service line Senior Management Team, Nursing lead, Safeguarding Leads and other CAMHS & ED Heads of Profession in order to deliver new innovative models of care, drive up quality and patient experience and improve nursing/clinical services in Collingham Child and Family Centre.
