An exciting opportunity has arisen for a mental health Nurse to join the Hillingdon Complex Emotional Needs Service, embedded within our Community Mental Health Teams and Psychology Service.
We are looking for an enthusiastic qualified Nurse with a core mental health training, with experience across the range of work within the Adult Mental Health Speciality, who are interested in being involved in provision of a service for people with complex personality difficulties. As such, you will potentially receive further high level training in MBT, DBT and Structured Clinical Management with this client group. Psychological therapy staff lead this service provision, and you will work alongside established experienced members of this team.

Main duties of the job
The applicant should have a strong interest inproviding a high level of service for service users and carers, excellent multidisciplinary team working skills and good knowledge of working with diversepopulations within one of the largestNHS Foundation Trusts in London.
You should ideally have experience of setting up and running groups, and believe groups to be a rich therapeutic experience for our often socially isolated clients.
The post holder will have strong team working skills and the ability to develop the capacity to provide consultation advice on clients' psychological care to other team members and carers.The successful applicant will join the well-established and respected Hillingdon Psychological Therapies Serviceand receive regular supervision from one of our experienced Clinical Psychologists.

As our referrals all come through the CMHTs they tend to be complex and present with risks of self -harm, so it is important that you enjoy this kind of challenge.
The service has strong links with the North Thames Clinical Psychology Doctorate Courses and the post holder will have the opportunity to supervisetrainee clinicalpsychologists on placement as appropriate, with supervision offered to develop their skills as a supervisor.
