Job summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a passionate, dynamic leader to join the Home 1st Unplanned team at Windsor Intermediate Care Unit (WICU) as a Ward Manager. This post joins our current Ward Manager allowing the service to provide 7-day leadership and operational expertise to our growing team.

Main duties of the job

The post-holder will have specific responsibility for managing the day-to-day functioning of unit. They will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of a high-quality service and take a lead role in ensuring continuous improvements of standards. Working within the ethos of the service, the post-holder will ensure that patient involvement is placed at the heart of service planning and delivery. The post-holder must strive to ensure that they and their team use clinical judgement in order to ensure that the care provided to the patients is provided timely and effective and meets the need of the individual.
