Main duties of the job
This is an exciting opportunity for staff to join a newly formed Older Adult Home Treatment Team in Brent. We are looking for band 6 staff who have a passion for older adult mental health and supporting people in crisis in the community.
You will be educated to at least degree/diploma level in health or social care and hold professional registration. You will have experience of working with older adults with mental health difficulties and previous experience of working within a community mental health team is desirable. With support from the home treatment team manager and the clinical lead you will provide assessment and intervention for clients experiencing mental health crisis and for clients as they are discharged from hospital. There is the opportunity to provide supervision and mentorship to the band 5 and band 4 staff.

About us
The Older Adult Home Treatment Team is a 7 day a week service and the post holders will be on a rota to include evening work up to 8pm and weekends. The service runs from 8am-8pm Monday to Friday and 9am-5pm on a Saturday and Sunday.
