Senior Physiotherapist (Falls Service)

Job summary

University Hospitals Tees is seeking to appoint a Band 6 Physiotherapist 22.5 hours a week on a permanent basis in the Hambleton & Richmondshire Falls Prevention Team.

The post offers an exciting opportunity to be involved with Falls Prevention across the area. We are a dynamic, supportive and forward-thinking team working to provide a first-class service to the locality and all of it's stakeholders.

To be successful in the role you will have substantial experience working as a Physiotherapist in a health care setting. Excellent communication and organisational skills, enthusiasm, commitment and ability to work with a wide range of agencies are vital in this post.

The ability to problem solve and respond to the needs of both the service and our service users is also an attribute required for the role. Service development and promotion of the service will be an integral part of this role.

Successful candidate must have access to a vehicle for work purposes to meet the requirements of the role.

Main duties of the job

You will need to be able to work on your own and as part of a team and be involved with service users with a range of multiple medical, social and emotional problems.

The role will primarily involve visiting service users in their own homes and therefore the ability to travel independently is an essential part of this job.

This post provides an excellent opportunity for someone who is already experienced to develop their existing skills. The role brings several exciting factors together, including excellent MDT working across all health and social care services coupled with a beautiful location.

After you complete these six and a half days of training you will be able to explore further leadership and improvement training opportunities. We also offer a range of additional in-house and externally provided courses and bitesize programmes through our Leadership and Improvement Team.
