Highly Specialist Cardiac Physiologist - CRM

Job summary
We are seeking an enthusiastic, highly skilled and motivated individual who is proficient in CRM and all EP studies and holds the BHRS/IBHRE in Cardiac Devices and/or EP accreditation. We will consider candidates if they have accreditation in one of the above specialisms with an interest in the other with the expectation to become accredited in the other within 18-24months of employment.
We have a modern, well-equipped and integrated department, with the facility to run two EP labs, a 3-bedded pacemaker clinic, as well as cardiac catheter labs with on-call service, fully digital echo suite and a full range of non-invasive cardiology diagnostics including ECGs, ambulatory ECG, BP and extended ECG monitoring, exercise tolerance tests and rapid access chest pain clinic.

Main duties of the job
The post holder would be expected to support and rotate through the Cardiac Cather labs for structural and interventional cardiology and participate on the oncall physiology rota as service needs demands.
The candidate would be working within our highly specialised CRM team supporting CRM device follow-up clinics, face to face, remote monitoring and specialised CRT clinics across Trust sites.
Invasively the candidate would support all CRM device implants, work towards sole implanter support for ICD's. The role involves providing support and guidance as the sole physiologist in the EP lab performing simple and complex electrophysiology, with 3D mapping and AF ablation.
