Friarage Hospital Northallerton & The James Cook University Hospital
As part of our expanding Department a wonderful opportunity has arisen for a Dental Nurse to work in our busy Orthodontic, Oral and Maxillofacial & Restorative Dentistry Outpatients Department. The ideal person will be an enthusiastic hard working person. The successful candidates must hold a current GDC registration and hold a current post in a general dental practice as they will be expected to cross cover in all areas of the Department
The successful candidate will hold a post registration certificate in either Orthodontics, Oral Health or Conscious Sedation. A basic knowledge of implantology would also be preferred however full training in all areas will be provided.
Main duties of the job
You will be expected to support the ward manager in ensuring ward KPIs, Model ward metrics, and STAQC standards are met on a daily basis.
In addition to this, excellent communication skills are essential, as is the love of people and a willingness to put the patient at the centre of all they do.
The successful candidate will be expected to work across sites at Friarage Hospital & James Cook Hospital as the service requires.
