We are looking for a highly motivated, enthusiastic and confident nurse to contribute to the delivery of a high quality early pregnancy care and post-surgical care to patients in South Tees Foundation Trust.
South Tees Hospitals Maternity Services is a progressive, innovative service that facilitates over 5000 deliveries per year on two sites.
We are constantly striving to improve our services to women, babies and their families and the working environment for our staff.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will provide advice and clinical to care to women experiencing complications in early pregnancy. They will provide clinical post-surgical care for women in the early pregnancy assessment unit. The post holder will work independently, assessing, planning and implementing evidence based care and will work closely with the Midwife sonographer, midwives and gynaecology medical team.

In 2012 the Middlesbrough hospital completed a £35 million redevelopment of its cancer services and is now proud to provide some of the best facilities in Europe. The James Cook University Hospital has a modern, central operating suite containing 20 well-equipped theatres and a 16-bedded intensive care unit. There is also an Institute of Learning, Research and Innovation on site, embracing postgraduate medical education, undergraduate teaching centre, nurse training school, the school of radiography and library facilities.
