Rotation to other areas within the division may operate when required.
An opportunity has arisen for enthusiastic, caring and committed staff nurses to support the current critical care team. We are a busy Cardiothoracic Intensive Care Unit, providing level 3 care to a highly specialised area. We are looking for a highly motivated and dynamic individual with excellent interpersonal skills to join us.

Main duties of the job
An induction programme, preceptorship, and competency training packs, specific to the critical care environment supports new starters. A supernumerary period allows staff to build confidence and skills and allows for clinical supervision with an allocated mentor. The main responsibilities will be related to clinical and nursing care within CICU with an emphasis on personal development. Previous experience in a critical care setting would be desirable however a keen interest in cardiothoracics and the intensive care environment is essential.
