The successful candidate will be expected to undertake cleanliness audits, food audits and condition B audits across the James Cook Hospital site on a daily basis using an electronic tablet to input the data which will then produce an audit score for that ward/department which will then be shared with the ward/departmental manager, with a request to action any nursing/clinical issues which have been identified. It is then the responsibility of the post holder to submit a request for any maintenance or cleaning issues identified during the audit via the helpdesk ensuring that a job number is obtained and then plan a re-audit in line with response times to ensure that the task is completed within the requested timescale.
The post holder will then also be required to produce accurate and prompt audit reports and highlight any concerns to their line manager in relation to the National Specifications of Cleanliness. The candidate will be expected to record factual information electronically, to support service users throughout the Trust and the ability to work closely with all staff during the audit monitoring.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will also be required to attend meetings from time to time when requested by their line manager with members of the Trust and Serco to discuss the findings.
To carry out domestic service, ward housekeeping audits for the PFI provided domestic and catering services
To carry out condition B audits of the PFI estate to ensure that the estate is maintained to a condition B standard.
