An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Associate Director of Nursing at South Tees Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.
The Associate Director of Nursing will be part of a triumvirate team and will be jointly accountable for developing the direction of the collaboratives in partnership with the Clinical Chair and Service Manager, providing clinical expertise. This post holder will also be part of a clinical board structure with the remit of developing the long and short term aims of the services.
Main duties of the job
The triumvirate team is supported by senior multi-professional teams at directorate level comprising of a Clinical Director, management support and Clinical Matron for each of the service groups.
As a key professional leader the Associate Director of Nursing will provide operational direction to all nurses within the collaboratives, be responsible for providing high quality patient focused care, ensuring robust risk management and governance arrangements are in place.
The post holder will be an integral part of the trust senior nursing team working with other Associate Directors of Nursing, Deputy Chief Nurses and Chief Nursing Officer.
We are seeking a highly motivated individual with excellent interpersonal, communication and organisational skills to drive towards developing a safety culture at South Tees.
