An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated, innovative and enthusiastic individual to work within our Ophthalmic Casualty and Injection Service in the Ophthalmology department at South Tees Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.
Main duties of the job
We are offering an opportunity for the right candidates to join our team . This post is a fantastic opportunity for experienced nurse practitioners with no eye experience but a willingness and drive to develop their ophthalmic knowledge and skills or a nurse interested in developing Advanced clinical skills. We are in search of a candidate who can offer added value to our existing team. We are looking for someone to share our passion for patient centred care, someone who is willing to work within a multi-disciplinary team to provide innovative, efficient, joined up care to our patients. The successful candidate will be someone who can support others to develop their ophthalmic knowledge and skills.If you have the drive to provide an excellent patient experience, and enthusiasm for personal and professional development, we are waiting to hear from you.If you do not have the skills in ophthalmology for the band 7 role we will offer a band 6 with progression to a Band 7 when trained and competent.
