Job summary
There is an exciting opportunity to join the Radiology Department as a Quality System Q-Pulse Administrator. This role will play an integral part of the Radiology Governance process, focusing on the maintenance of the Quality Management System of Radiology (Q-Pulse) to facilitate compliance with regulatory standards and help maintain the provision of an effective and efficient service.
Main duties of the job
- Monitor the documentation associated with all Radiology Governance processes to be compliant with regulatory bodies and Trust and local policies, in the provision of the Radiology service.
- Responsible for the collation and maintenance of robust records.
- The post holder will be an autonomous worker and will not be routinely supervised, being responsible for their own workload scheduling and completion.
- Contribute to staff training and development of the quality management system (Q-Pulse), where applicable.
- Post holder will identify trends and escalate issues/expiry dates and non-compliance with evidence to Modality Managers.
- The post holder will provide an effective administration support service providing excellent communication skills.
- The post holder will be a key member of the Q-Pulse team and work with the Modality Managers to facilitate smooth running of the Q-Pulse system.
- To establish effective working relationships with service users and to liaise with radiological, nursing and clerical staff within the area to provide a seamless service.
- To provide effective, caring and compassionate services to patients, and observe Trust wide and local policies and report any deviation from these.
