Job summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a full time apprentice Simulation Assistant to work within medical education. This customer facing role will support the delivery of education, maintenance and risk assessment of simulation and technological equipment within STRIVE and in clinical areas during in-situ education.

This is a progressional role to a band 4 on completion of (HE Assistant Technician and Simulation-Based Technician) L3 apprenticeship with Hampshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.

Main duties of the job

This is a busy and demanding role, so candidates will need to be enthusiastic, highly motivated and have a flexible approach to their role to ensure the needs of the service are met.

Applicants should be able to work under pressure using their own initiative.

Applicants should also have excellent organisational and communication skills to ensure all deadlines are achieved.

The job role will include cross site working and applicants should have the ability to travel independently.

As it is a niche job role, it is highly recommended that applicants have visited the Department.
