An exciting opportunity has arisen for THREE enthusiastic and driven team players to join the rapidly growing pharmacy team at The James Cook University Hospital. You will be working within the pharmacy stores team and on the wards of the hospital. You will be part of the busy pharmacy stores team assisting in the provision of an effective and timely service to the patients and staff of South Tees Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust under the leadership of the Senior Pharmacy Technician for Stores, Logistics and Procurement and the supervising Assistant Technical Officers.
Main duties of the job
The role consists of the processing of goods in, the picking of ward stock orders and ad hoc requests, the replenishment of ward Omnicell cabinets, date checking and stock rotation. The role also includes working in the fluid store, loading European pallets with boxes of fluids, securing the load, moving, storing and loading pallets using the 1 tonne pallet stacker (training to be provided).
This role is full time, 37.5 hours per week. Core working hours are Monday to Friday 08:30 - 17:00 with weekend, bank holiday and late night working on a rota basis.

You will train in pharmacy service skills at NVQ level 2 and you will be trained on the use of the electronic pallet stacker.
