Following a successful trial, The James Cook University Hospital is looking for enthusiastic, dynamic and motivated Registered Nurses to work on the newly opened, therapy led, Ward 38.

You must have:

  • A desire to work with in an innovative and integrated multidisciplinary team
  • A passion for person centred care

Staff may be required to relocate.

Main duties of the job

Ward 38 has been established to care for medically fit individuals who are awaiting packages of care, short term placement or ongoing rehabilitation who no longer require acute medical care .

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a newly formed team to support this recent development in the trust . The ward's focus is on delivering co-ordinated, person-centred care and ensuring safe and effective discharge and ongoing rehabilitation.

This is an ideal opportunity to develop your skills Nurses from non-acute or non NHS backgrounds are welcome to apply. You will be supported by the Ward Manager, Practice Development Nurse and Clinical Matron in your continued professional development with the appropriate training opportunities.
