Radiology Systems Team Lead
South Tees Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is looking to recruit a Radiology Systems Team Lead. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to develop their career in this field.
We are willing to support current Diagnostic Radiographers to develop into this role.
Main duties of the job
The role will be based at the James Cook University hospital site with some rotation to all South Tees NHS Foundation Trust sites. The post holder will supervise the Radiology Systems Team daily within the Imaging department and support an efficient service delivery to ensure a high standard of patient care. The Imaging Department has recently upgraded the PACS and RIS systems and is looking for an enthusiastic candidate to help lead this vital service.

Essential
- Radiology specific technical knowledge in Radiology IT based systems including PACS and RIS.
- Advanced I.T. skills, presentation, and teaching/training skills.
- Knowledge of information governance and its use within the imaging IT environment
- Knowledge and understanding of a range of imaging modalities.
- Evidence of continuous personal and professional.
Desirable
- Use of PACS, RIS and radiology-based IT systems at a system manager and key user level
- Previous clinical management/supervisory/ leadership experience
- Experience of developing working relationships
- Radiography experience
QUALIFICATIONS & TRAINING
Essential
- Hold an appropriate professional qualification.
- Competent in the use of Microsoft office products.
- Diploma or degree in a Diagnostic Radiography and/or IT related field or demonstrably work to an equivalent level.
Desirable
- Post graduate education in leadership.
- Advanced keyboard skills
- HCPC registration
