Job summary
This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated individual to join the Patient Safety and Legal Services team.
The post holder will provide efficient administrative support to the following functions within the Patient Safety and Legal Services department, to ensure compliance with the requirements of statutory national and local requirements:
- Litigation (legal process)/ Claims
- Police/Coroner Requests
- Patient Safety

As an apprentice you will be trained in the full range of our office procedures. You will use a computer and IT systems, help others and have a desire to provide a high standard of customer service. You must be able to prioritise your own work to meet deadlines, have the ability to follow instructions and have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. You will be confident, have a mature and flexible approach, be a good time keeper and have the ability to work unsupervised to ensure the effective coordination of duties.
In return we will ensure that you receive all the training you need to be able to do this role fully and competently. You will be released for study and supported to achieve a framework of nationally recognised qualifications. You will receive 27 days annual leave and be entitled to a range of discounts on services and products from a number of retailers and organisations in the local area.
Main duties of the job
The minimum entry requirements are 2 GCSEs *A - C or level 2 Functional Skills in Englishandmaths (or equivalent qualification).
Applicants are not eligible to apply for this apprenticeship if they have:
- A Customer Service qualification or apprenticeship (in the same field) at level 2 or level 3(If applicants have other qualifications similar to customer service, an eligibility check will need to be completed to ensure they are eligible to do this apprenticeship)
