Job summary

In Diabetes Care we aim to provide the best service to all patients in an outpatient and inpatient environment, we are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated highly skilled Diabetes Nurse to enhance patient experience and assist the trust to improve patient care.

  • Experience in working in the field of diabetes
  • Demonstrates understanding of how diabetes affects different populations of the community
  • Ability to communicate with staff at different levels to establish good clinical practice
  • Updates knowledge based on best practice and reflected upon their practice on a regular basis

Qualifications

Essential

  • Degree/Diploma Specialist Training to master level
  • 1st Level registration with Nursing Midwifery Council
  • Non-medical prescribing qualification/willingness to complete

Desirable

  • Postgraduate qualification in Diabetes like Msc or PhD in Diabetes
