1 x 37.5 hours permanent
2 x 37.5 hours fixed term 12 months
The post will support the MacMillan Cancer Pathway Co-ordinators in the tracking of patients through the cancer pathway.
This is a busy and demanding role so candidates will need to be enthusiastic, highly motivated and have a flexible approach to their role to ensure the needs of the service are met. They will have the flexibility to respond to requests from specialties, and will be able to work under their own initiative.
Main duties of the job
To be successful in this role, the candidates require a good understanding of the cancer pathways and the national targets. You will have excellent communication and organisational skills, be able to work under pressure whilst adhering to deadlines and have the ability to negotiate and liaise effectively within a team based environment.

Leadership and Improvement Training
South Tees Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust offers leadership and improvement training to all new staff to the Trust; this training programme has been designed to support our leaders in developing their understanding of leadership and management skills. You will be expected to attend the New and Aspiring leaders programme, and the Foundation Quality Improvement Programme that the Trust delivers. After you complete this one and a half day of training you will be able to explore further leadership and improvement training opportunities, we offer further in-house courses and bitesize programmes and leadership apprenticeships at level 3,5 and 7.
