An exciting opportunity has arisen for motivated and enthusiastic Digital System Analysts to support the trusts digital transformation plan including the implementation of a new market leading Digital Health Record (Alcidion - Miya Precision) and Electronic Prescribing and Medicine Administration system (Better Meds).
The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day technical support of the trusts systems including maintenance, system upgrades and supporting business intelligence.
This is an exciting role for someone who is technically minded, passionate about digital transformation, and who has a drive to help South Tees Hospitals NHS Trust improve its digital maturity .
Main duties of the job
The ideal candidate will be educated to Degree level (or equivalent level of experience of working at a similar level in specialist area) and have extensive experience working within the field of computing.
Excellent problem solving and communication skills are vital for this post.
The post holder will be based James Cook University Hospital, Marton Road, Middlesbrough and will be expected to travel across site to Friarage Hospital, Northallerton as required. The post holder will also be required to form part of an out-of-hours on-call rota.
South Tees Hospitals is the largest trusts in the Tees Valley with two acute hospitals and services in a number of community hospitals.
The James Cook University Hospital in Middlesbrough is a designated major trauma centre and provides all its specialties from one site which is unique for a hospital of its size. It provides a wide range of district general hospital services and specialist services. It has 1,024 beds, a 24-hour acute admissions unit and an emergency department which houses the major trauma centre for Durham, East Cleveland, Tees Valley and North Yorkshire and has its own helipad.
