Job summary

To provide a high quality administrative support service and ensure excellent customer care and experience for staff, students and external partners.

We are currently offering an opportunity for administration assistant to work in the Education and Practice Development Team at The James Cook University Hospital

Main duties of the job

The postholder will work on their own initiative, under the guidance of the admin team lead, and will plan their own workload ensuring that monthly and annual deadlines are met.

Provide administrative support for the provision of all sessions and work streams. This includes Preceptorship, Practice Assessors workshops, student inductions and clinical skills training sessions. Supporting the Admin Team Leader with TNA and RNDA student placements and recruitment processes associated with elective placements.

Ensure that standards are maintained, and office work is prioritised correctly always adhering Trust policies and guidelines relating to the role.

South Tees Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust offers leadership and improvement training to all new staff to the Trust; this training programme has been designed to support our leaders in developing their understanding of leadership and management skills. You will be expected to attend the New and Aspiring leaders programme, and the Foundation Quality Improvement Programme that the Trust delivers. After you complete this one and a half day of training you will be able to explore further leadership and improvement training opportunities, we offer further in-house courses and bitesize programmes and leadership apprenticeships at level 3,5 and 7.
