Job summary

The Senior Information Manager for BI Services will bring leadership and customer focus combined with a passion to improve how we use intelligence to support our clinical services and strategic decision-making.

You will ensure that the trust meets its mandatory requirements with robust data submissions, whilst also developing internal dashboards and report products and providing a responsive information service. The Trust has begun an ambitious programme of digital transformation, and you will help ensure that the business intelligence benefits are fully realised.

Main duties of the job

You will have responsibility for three Business Intelligence teams: management information, product development and data quality. You will support the team leads to develop and grow the teams' capability, capacity and function to meet the needs of the organisation.

You will work closely with operational Service Managers, Clinical leaders and IT systems colleagues and senior stakeholders to ensure that BI services are aligned to their needs and priorities.

You will have a sound knowledge of NHS information systems, and the use of information for performance management, organisational governance, excellence in operational delivery and service improvement. You will have a technical skill set in informatics to be able to guide and support your teams, and bring project management and service development experience.

Desirable
