Job summary

An opportunity has arisen within the ICT Operations team for a motivated and enthusiastic ICT RDM Support and Packaging Specialist to join the team of staff in the system administration of the SCCM infrastructure, development, maintenance and all support tasks. This will also include the creation, maintenance and deployment of operating system images across a variety of hardware and patch management.

The post holder will work as part of the Trust ICT Systems Support Services Team providing all aspects of SCCM system administration, configuration desktop patching, ICT Service desk calls in relation to faults and user support requirements.

Main duties of the job

The successful candidate will assist in the ongoing development of the service to achieve corporate objectives in line with the Trust's strategic framework and in accordance with agreed technical standards.

Proven expert knowledge of SCCM, MDT, USMT, Active Directory, Group Policy, software and applications including, Microsoft windows operating systems and SQL.

Proven expert knowledge in scripting, VB, VB script, WSH, Windows Installer and other shell scripting languages.

The ideal candidate will be educated to Degree level or an equivalent professional qualification in a computer related discipline. An excellent working knowledge of system administration and a keen interest in system technologies is required along with excellent problem solving and communication skills.
