Job summary
This role is offered on a permanent basis. The hours are part-time, 30 hours per week.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and organised part time Occupational Therapy Technician in our later life community mental health team in Gloucester City. We welcome applicants with a range of experiences and transferrable skills that would enhance the health and well-being of our service users in the broadest sense.
You will join a developing and innovative service that aims to provide the right care and treatment at the right time, to individuals within Gloucestershire. You will become part of an established multi-disciplinary team that has a strong emphasis on delivering evidence based occupational therapy interventions.
Main duties of the job
We are looking for someone who has experience, relevant knowledge and a passion to be working with mental health service users, contributing to interventions that promote recovery or support living well. Applicants need to be able to demonstrate drive and motivation in providing Occupational Therapy (OT) interventions in the community.

This high-level overview shows we are in a healthy position, with higher scores than average for comparable organisations, alongside a great response rate, indicating good staff engagement. However, we also know we have plenty of room for improvement in many areas. To that end, we continue to prioritise and invest in our commitment to genuinely becoming a Great Place to Work with consistent top-quartile performance in the annual staff survey and Pulse surveys.
