Integrated community team are looking for skilled individuals with phlebotomy experience to join us to work within our community nursing service. we are looking for Band 2 Phlebotomists you will be part of a team delivering a high-quality service to housebound patients supporting referrals from our local partners.
We are a cohesive team who are supportive, caring and passionate about delivering excellent patient care. As a phlebotomist you will work closely with nursing colleagues and the referral centre to deliver a phlebotomy service Monday to Fridays.

The role of the phlebotomist is to provide a service to support community nursing within the Integrated Community Team (ICT). To ensure patients are able to access timely venepuncture as a result of an appropriately completed request from a clinician.
- Demonstrate an awareness of physical, psycho-social, cultural and environmental needs of patients and their family/carer when in patient's homes
- To obtain high quality blood samples from patients in the home environment
- Responsible for planning day to day work tasks and activities within an occasionally unpredictable environment
- To work independently and as part of a team.
