The Clinical Systems Team is a supportive, vibrant and forward-thinking team and we are looking for dedicated team players with excellent communication and organisational skills and meticulous attention to detail.

Main duties of the job

The successful candidate will liaise with system users, provide high quality advice and support to Trust staff & carry out system configuration changes contributing to the overall improvement of clinical systems. They will need to quickly develop sound expertise in some of our Clinical Systems e.g. RiO, SystmOne, IAPTus Soel Health & Lilie and will be fully supported to do this.

The role will support the wider Clinical Systems Team across the areas of Change, Development and Second Line support by undertaking clearly defined tasks & responding to adhoc queries. Excellent time management skills and the ability to multi-task are essential.

The Clinical Systems Team is in a privileged position in being able to bring about positive change across the Trust. We aim to support staff to perform their roles more effectively and ultimately improve patient care through use of the Trust's Clinical Systems. We pride ourselves on our positive and friendly service and the successful candidate will help us in providing an excellent service, both within the Team and Trust-wide.

If you have a keen interest in Clinical Systems and would enjoy working as part of a team in a busy and varied role, we will welcome your application.

About us

We have in excess of 5000 staff working over 50 sites, providing a diverse range of services. We strive to support an organisational culture that is welcoming, builds and celebrates inclusivity and diversity and provides a sense of belonging and trust.

The annual NHS Staff Surveygives our people the opportunity to tell us about their experience working at the Trust. For the 2023 survey just over 2800 colleagues gave us their views (58.5%). It was great to see from the results that colleagues are saying that:

  • 89.7% believe they are making a positive difference to patients/service users;
  • 73.3% would recommend the organisation as a place to work;
  • 82.4% agree that care of patients and service users is the organisations priority;
  • 76.7% would be happy with the standard of care for a friend or relative

Our results put us as 5th nationally as a Community, Mental Health and Learning Disabilities NHS Employer of Choice and 1st equal amongst all NHS Provider Trusts in the South West. However, we know we have more to do and will continue to drive forward our commitment to making GHC a Great Place to Work.
