Job summary
The Eating Disorders Service at The Brownhill Centre, Cheltenham is seeking to recruit an Assistant Eating Disorders Clinician. This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a developing service within Gloucestershire Health and Care NHSFT.
This is a newly commissioned post as part of the wider transformation of the service and has been established to support the ongoing development of the Eating Disorders Model .
The Eating Disorders service is highly regarded and provides specialist assessment, treatment and support for individuals who are experiencing an eating disorder and their families within Gloucestershire. There is a strong focus on specialist therapies in the service and excellent clinical leadership and supervision within the team.
As part of a merged community Trust, the service aspires to achieve more personalised and holistic care and, as part of this, a greater integration of mental and physical healthcare. There is also huge potential for the further development of partnership working alongside other statutory and VCS services.

Main duties of the job
- Under supervision of a registered practitioner, provide 1:1 evidence based treatments to patients assessed as low to medium risk
- Assist in the assessment of new patients
- Participate and contribute to the evaluation of outcome including inputting of data
- To participate and contribute to the development and implementation of audit and research activities under the supervision of senior staff
- Contribute to professional discussions regarding patient care
