Job summary

We are looking for a well organised and adaptable Dental Practice Manager, someone who has proven experience as a leader and Practice manager ideally within a Dental setting. You will be focused on supporting the practice to meet its contractual aims and objectives.

As our Practice Manager you will be responsible for providing the day to day operational management to ensure the smooth running of Springbank Dental Surgery. You will be passionate about providing leadership and promoting the organisations values to enable the practice to meet its agreed aims and objective.

Supporting projects alongside continual development within a changing health economy and as such may be subject to some change. To provide business and project support to the Leadership Team within Dental Services. You will take responsibility for multiple systems to assist in developing business intelligence, which will support service improvements, in line with local strategies and government initiatives. These initiatives will require a high level of planning, negotiating, analytical and communication skills.

You will be an exceptional people manager with excellent interpersonal skills to develop our passionate and committed team.

Main duties of the job

Gloucestershire Health & Care NHS Foundation Trust delivers Dental Services to the community. The Service comprises the Special Care and Paediatric Referral Service, Intermediate Minor Oral Surgery, General Dental Service and Out of Hours urgent Gloucestershire dental care. Springbank Dental Clinic is a two-surgery clinic providing general dental services with a team of Dental Officers, Dental Nurses, Decontamination assistant and receptionist. The practice manager will drive the performance of the team to meet Commissioning requirements and report to the senior leadership team regularly on set targets.
