Job summary

An opportunity has arisen within Cotswolds Integrated Community Teams (ICTs) for an Admin Team Lead.

The role of the Admin Lead is crucial to the smooth running of our ICT team and the delivery of safe patient care. The successful candidate will plan, initiate, organise and implement the provision of administrative support for the service areas. This will involve providing performance and productivity information as well as using your own expertise to generate long term plans for the department and service area. Working alongside the senior managers you will contribute to the service achieving our business objectives to ensure high quality patient care. In addition to this the role covers the management and supervision of administrative colleagues within the locality.

The ideal candidate will have good attention to detail, excellent customer service and the capability to forge strong, trusting and productive relationships with colleagues inside and outside the organisation. You will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, need to be flexible, self-driven and adaptable. You will be expected to work with a high degree of autonomy and prioritise the demands of a busy workload in a changing environment.

Main duties of the job

To work within an Integrated Community Team Locality. Plan, initiate, organise and implement the provision of administrative support for the service areas by providing performance and productivity information as well as using your own expertise to generate long term plans for the department and service area in agreement with business objectives, senior managers and reflecting performance from the team.

To manage and supervise administrative staff in the Locality.

To support the delivery of administrative support to the GP Networks 'Place based' Model of care.

To manage a team to deliver a comprehensive administration function to the service area ensuring that efficient, effective and consistent administrative and clerical standards and procedures are implemented and maintained across the service.

To ensure effective, efficient and consistent administration and support standards and processes are maintained within your team to support the delivery of excellent customer service.
