An exciting opportunity has arisen to hold a portfolio of services and roles within the Integrated Children and Young People Service (CYPS) Directorate which is part of Gloucestershire Health & Care NHS Trust. CYPS provides high quality specialist physical & mental health as well as learning disability services for children and young people (up to their 19th birthday).

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced individual to provide overall leadership and management to a designated portfolio of Childrens Services. This is an exciting and varied role which will requires you to work across all health settings (physical & mental health alongside learning disabilities) whilst working collaboratively with the Trust, commissioners and other key system stake holders.
Main duties of the job
Work as part of a Senior Leadership Team alongside other DSD's with primary responsibility for the daily operational oversight & leadership of a physical health based portfolio of the Directorate: Health Visiting, School Aged Immunisations, School Nursing, Children in Care & Childrens Community Nursing/Complex Care. Key player in driving childrens integrative benefits & service change forward. To enthuse, motivate & involve your teams to drive forward quality initiatives & continuous improvements, addressing health inequalities. Be passionate championing the Voice of the Child at all levels.
Success is measured by the following key criteria:

- Improved collaborative partnership working with system partners ie. GP's, Education, Social Care, Commissioners to jointly resolve complex system challenges
