Job summary
Gloucestershire Lymphoedema Service is seeking to recruit a highly motivated Registered Nurse, HCPC Occupational Therapist or HCPC Physiotherapist to join our small, well established Lymphoedema Team. The vacancy is for a Lymphoedema Practitioner Band 6 or Development Lymphoedema Practitioner Band5/6, depending on level of experience.
Training, support and mentorship will be provided to help you to develop skills, knowledge and confidence to deliver high quality care at a specialist level, and the successful candidate will be expected to under take the Graduate diploma in Oedema Management.
Main duties of the job
The successful post holder will be part of developing the service providing specialist assessment, support and treatment for service users and will work collaboratively with the team and other multi professional teams to ensure practice is efficient , effective and evidence based.

We are looking for a clinician with a special interest in improving care for for our service users and a keen interest in this specialist area is essential.

- Educated to a degree level in registered profession

- Specialist accredited Lymphoedema training or willing to undertake this

- Experience of working within community setting
- Extensive experience of assessing, treating and managing patients' problems with rational and evidence-based treatment plans
